Lisa founded Emmet Consulting with a clear goal to deliver greater commercial impact through brand and marketing. Focussed on creating sustainable strategies that enable clients to create customer value, consistently and profitably, Lisa is exceptionally commercial in her thinking and brutally focussed in her approach to strategy, innovation and creativity.

With over 20 years of international experience, Lisa has been fortunate to work with some of the world’s leading B2B, B2C and Education brands, identifying and initiating major brand strategy, product development and business transformation programmes across multiple markets and platforms.

Melissa Barnes

Mel is a rare all-rounder with over 15 years of marketing planning and execution experience. Her background includes work with enterprise scale, client-side brands, as well as some of Australia's foremost advertising agencies.


Mel's capabilities bring an uncommon appreciation of what it takes to scope and deliver successful marketing strategies in a meaningful and highly commercial way. Her experience enables her to be as comfortable working with the C-Suite as she is when overseeing the detailed execution required to ensure plans are turned into tangible outcomes. 

Paul Munkley

Emmet Consulting Paul Munkley

Paul brings over twenty years of international experience, including more than seven in executive leadership positions spanning Sales, Marketing, Transformation and Business Integration across listed, start-up and private equity environments.

Paul's focus areas include Commercial, Sales and Marketing strategy development, as well as organisational design across both the Sales and Marketing functions. He specialises in revenue and profitability performance improvement and brings  a strong technical background, with extensive experience in the selection, implementation and improvement of returns from CRM and digital marketing investments.

Rua is a curious, customer-led marketer with over 12 years’ experience driving growth for well-known brands in Australia and New Zealand, including ANZ, Pearson Publishing, Unitec Education and SaaS start-ups.

Rua's experience within large organisations enables her to work comfortably with all facets of a business to understand their needs. Over the past few years, Rua has enjoyed leveraging her experience to help companies grow. She partners with clients to establish a strong plan that aligns with their business strategy, setting clear goals while working with their teams to deliver best-in-class marketing.

Isabella Russo

Marketing Assistant

Isabella has a strong passion for marketing, design, and social media, holding a Marketing degree from Melbourne's RMIT and a post-graduate in visual communication from Deakin University.


Isabella is a fundamental element of the Emmet marketing engine, working on social media branding, graphic design, campaign and marketing collateral development across multiple client projects. She also provides critical research and support services to the consulting team. Isabella's style mixes a pragmatic ‘get it done' attitude with a twist of creative flair.

Rachel Molloy

Rachel brings over twenty years’ experience in marketing, communications strategy and copywriting to Emmet consulting. She has worked for large multinational advertising agencies, award-winning design houses, large corporations and small businesses. 

Rachel combines her passion for exploring human behaviour and motivations with her business acumen and creative thinking; creating unique, compelling communications that work hard to unlock business opportunities for Emmet’s clients.

Alongside her business studies and experience, Rachel has studied psychology and sociology and is a qualified psychotherapist, and is also currently completing her masters’ degree.

Unlike traditional consultancies and agencies, on the day we started, we made a decision to not hold all of our services in-house. Nearly a decade later, we retain the same core belief.
