We're pleased to announce the launch of the newly formed Australian Contemporary Opera Company (Aka ACOCo) .
Working with the newly strengthened board at Gertrude Opera, we have helped transform the organisation into the Australian Contemporary Opera Company, offering a much-needed future for contemporary opera performance in Australia.
This newly created company has been established by leading performer and social entrepreneur Linda Thompson to help create a future for contemporary opera in Australia. Building a national festival platform, creating accessible, contemporary opera, performing unique Australian Stories and creating much needed jobs in the arts.
Helping the team define their organisational strategy and brand has been a pleasure. The arts, culture and tourism industry has been hugely impacted by the global pandemic. Resetting focus and defining critical goal orientated plans and commercial outcomes is a major step in building a sustainable future for the Australian Contemporary Opera Company.
